This site collects almost nothing. What it does collect comes from the contact form, and this page explains all of it.
Who is responsible
The controller of any personal data processed through this site is brightsocialstudio. Questions about this notice can be sent to contact@brightsocialstudio.com.
What the contact form collects
The form on the contact page asks for a name, an email address, a subject and a message, and records your consent to this notice. Nothing else is requested. If you write to us by email instead, we process whatever you choose to put in that message.
Purpose and legal basis
We use what you send only to read your message and reply to it, and to check or correct an entry where your message concerns one. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in maintaining an accurate guide.
How long it is kept
Correspondence is kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards so that a correction can be traced back to its source. After that it is deleted. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by writing to the address above.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as the requesting IP address, the time of the request, the page requested and the browser string. These logs exist for security and for keeping the site running, are kept for a short period and are not used to build a profile of any reader.
No tracking of any kind
This site runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags and no third-party cookies. It sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser. The single script on the site opens and closes the navigation menu, and it sends nothing anywhere.
Hosting and processors
The site is served by a hosting provider acting as a processor under a written agreement, and email is handled by a mail provider on the same basis. No other processor receives data from this site.
Transfers outside your country
Our providers may operate servers in more than one country. Where personal data moves across borders, it is transferred on the basis of standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard recognised in the relevant jurisdiction.
Your rights
You may ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, for its correction or erasure, for restriction of processing, for portability, and you may object to processing. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it, which does not affect anything done before the withdrawal.
Complaints
If you believe your data has been handled wrongly, you may complain to the supervisory authority for data protection in your country or region of residence.
